FAQs for Supporters

How do I sign up to support a podcast?
Just head to the podcast website and click the Support button at the top of the page. You will be taken to a subscription page where you can select your emoji identifier and contribution amount. Then fill out your billing information, and you'll be all set!'

If you are supporting a podcast with subscriber-only content, we will send you a confirmation email and provide you with your premium RSS Feed URL that you will use once you're subscribed. You can subscribe to that premium RSS feed through your favorite podcast listening app.

If you don't want to subscribe through a podcast player, you can listen to subscriber-only content from your supporter page. After you sign up for your subscription, you can click Listen Now to hear all the content right away!

Your card will be charged on the same day each month. We will contact you a few days before to give you a heads-up, and we will email you a receipt after each successful payment. You can save these emails for your records to keep track of your monthly support.

Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your support of a podcast at any time. Just go to your latest emailed receipt and click the Manage Subscription link. That will take you to your subscription page and allow you to cancel the subscription and stop future payments. If you are subscribed to multiple shows, you will need to cancel each subscription individually.

Can I get a refund if I forget to cancel?
Most likely no. We understand if you aren't able to continue supporting a podcast, so we will email you prior to each charge, giving you the option to cancel. However, once the charge goes through, you may not be able to get a refund. These subscriptions are supporting an independent podcaster directly, and so they may not have the ability to refund a payment once it has been processed. 

We may have some additional options under special circumstances, so feel free to email our support team directly (support@buzzsprout.com) if you feel you should receive a refund. We will do what we can!
